A Brit in CH

Not too many Halls in Switzerland at the moment...

I have been in Switzerland for six years now.
I moved here one cold December, after
spending most of my life in Germany.

The last ten years in Germany were spent teaching graphic-applications on the Macintosh and Colour-Management on the PC.
For five of those years, I travelled backwards and forwards between Stuttgart (Warmbronn) and St. Gallen.

I spent three days to a week here every two to three weeks, spending
the warmer evenings in my mobile home and the colder evenings in a hotel.
After my move here I was offered a job as Production Manager in a
Graphic Design Agency – I took the job, of course.

This is where I live now
,
close to Appenzell, which is in the foothills
to the Alps, just south of the Lake of Constance.
I recently started to photograph the canal junctions around Birmingham.
You can find the first impressions in the Gallery.

In May 2007 I visited Strasbourg for the first time since I have lived in Switzerland ...
... I took a few pictures for you!
